She suffered for years from heavy menstrual bleeding causing severe anemia and syncopal episodes at work.
At 2 weeks follow up visit after successful treatment with UFE, her intervening menstrual cycle was short and light.
She no longer has bloating and pelvic pressure/heaviness. Her clothing fits better. She could walk longer distance without having shortness of breath.
Her response to UFE? “This is a long time coming!”.
