Our patient is a Social Worker, passionate about her career and dedicated to the care of her family.
She suffered from low back/pelvic pain, bloating and severe menstrual bleeding resulting in anemia.
At 4 months follow up after a successful treatment with UFE, the menstrual cycle is light and short. She no longer has pain, heaviness, or bloating. The previously palpable, enlarged, and hard uterus is NOT palpable on physical exam.
How does she feel about UFE? “I should have done this a long time ago.”
