Dr. Yvonne Dang

Dr. Yvonne Dang is a Board Certified Interventional Radiologist and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Radiology.

Dr. Yvonne Dang has 20 years experience caring for Patients with Vascular, Oncologic, Renal, and Hepatic Diseases with the subspecialty expertise in Ambulatory Uterine Artery Embolization (UAE), popularly known as Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE).

She is a graduate of The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (Class of 1997), completing her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at The University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics, and her fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

Dr. Dang has been practicing in NYC since 2004, further developing her experience and expertise in Vascular and Oncologic Intervention as an Attending Physician at New York Presbyterian-Cornell (2004-2010), where she also served as the Fellowship Program Director, developing academic and clinical curriculum. For the last decade, Dr. Dang has focused on providing Ambulatory Interventional Care for Vascular, Gynecologic, and Renal Diseases throughout the communities of Manhattan, Chinatown, The Bronx, Brooklyn, and Nassau County.

In 2020, Dr. Dang re-focused on her primary interest and expertise, Ambulatory Uterine Artery Embolization (UAE/UFE), leading teams to enhance patient experiences, outcomes and recoveries at BrooklynFibroid.com.

Karen Warner

Karen has over 18 years of administrative professional experiences in the health care and service industries, earning an associate degree in business from Cittone Institute in Edison, NJ.

Karen became a New Yorker over 20 years ago and currently resides in Brooklyn with her loving husband and two great children!

Karen enjoys spending quality time with family and friends. She is an active participant, volunteering and helping her community. Time permits, she loves being in the outdoors, appreciating nature whether it is at the park, the beach, or on the hiking trails.

Daphne Duran, LPN, RN, NP

Daphne obtaining her LPN at 18 years of age.  The Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Nursing soon followed.  Daphne has vast real world experience taking care of patients in critical care setting such as Telemetry/Stroke Unit and Med-Surg ICU.  She also has administrative experience serving as the Charge Nurse and Assistant Nurse Manager.

During the COVID pandemic, Daphne was at the front line serving as a critical care nurse in the Cardiac ICU and PACU at Staten Island University Hospital. 

Starting her new chapter, Daphne is the proud proprietor of IG: Juvenescence_Aesthetic, a health and wellness spa on Seguine Ave in Staten Island (https://juvenescence-105169.square.site/) and as an NP at NYU Langone.

BrooklynFibroid is blessed to have Daphne taking personalized one-on-one care of our patients.  We also have Daphne to thank for the extra pound(s) gained from our enjoyment of delicious Honduran food (and fried cheese).  

Marina Todeasa, RN

Marina has been caring for patients for the past 13 years as a paramedic in NJ, an instructor in Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and an emergency department Registered Nurse in NYC. She enjoys being able to provide one-on-one care for the patients here at Brooklyn Fibroid (and we are fortunate to have her).

Marina currently lives in Staten Island with her partner and two rescue dogs, Prince and Coco.  In her spare time she enjoys relaxing on the beach, reading, and knitting amazing creations.
